Standard functions

STANDARD FUNCTIONS

  1. Forming. The cavities are formed from two strips of plastic
    and they can be in different shapes.
  2. Lower trimming. The lower trimming, obtained
    with a shaped cutting die , assists the opening of the strip.
  3. Dosing. The product is dosed with precise volumes at the dosing station and these volumes can be changed automatically.
  4. Upper sealing. The strips are sealed on the upper part in such a way as to give the cavities airtight closure.
  5. Coding. Coding as required, digits, inkjet or laser printer.
  6. Upper trimming. The upper edge of the strips is obtained with a shaped cutting die.
  7. Pre-cutting and cutting. The strips are pre-cut and the final cut divides the units into the required number of doses.

  • Butterfly twist off opening done with two side cuts around the neck (only for the FarmoDue unit dose models).
  • Splice control device and micro hole check with stop dosing and non conform strips rejected on exit belt.
