FARMO RES, solutions for a more sustainable packaging future

In a world increasingly aware of environmental challenges, the packaging industry has a crucial role to play in shaping a sustainable future. As a leader in packaging machinery, FARMO RES is committed to addressing the global challenges of packaging waste and climate change.
The intent is not only to provide state-of-the-art machinery, but also to lead the transformation towards a more environmentally sustainable packaging strategy.  This goes beyond machine production, it also extends to developing, together with customers and partners, innovative solutions that meet the needs of a changing market.

Sustainability with rPET: the Farmo Res solution

Our PRIMA K7 machine, in its compact version, is designed to package using rPET, a recycled material derived from PET. PET is widely used for producing bottles and beverage containers due to its excellent oxygen barrier properties and its ability to preserve the hygienic and safety characteristics of liquids. Using rPET not only maintains these properties but also offers a significant environmental advantage: it can be recycled again, creating a virtuous cycle of sustainability. Farmo Res, with its PRIMA K7 thermoforming machine, supports sustainable packaging needs, helping to reduce environmental impact and promote the preservation of our planet.

A new photovoltaic system in the company

In this context of increasing focus on environmental sustainability, the adoption of renewable energy sources emerges as a strategic investment for companies. Therefore, investing in a state-of-the-art photovoltaic plant has proven to be a wise and profitable action for FARMO RES.In addition to contributing to the reduction of carbon emissions, this investment has also resulted in significant savings on energy costs.

With the ability to generate clean and sustainable energy, the new photovoltaic system significantly reduces dependence on traditional energy sources, while providing greater stability and control over consumption.
Renewable energies such as photovoltaics thus offer a clean and sustainable alternative that can significantly reduce the ecological impact of production activities, further evidence of a concrete commitment to environmental sustainability.
