Farmo Res proudly participated in the 2025 edition of Pharmintech Ipack-Ima, one of the most important international events dedicated to pharmaceutical packaging.
Pharmintech at Ipack-Ima in Milan, confirms itself as a very significant meeting point for industry professionals, companies and innovators.
The highlight of our stand was the new R70 INNOVA thermoforming machine, specifically designed to meet the packaging needs of pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and medical products with maximum efficiency and reliability.
The R70 INNOVA represents a significant technological advancement: thanks to its flexibility and high performance, this machine ensures speed, precision, and adaptability at every stage of the production process.
A key innovation presented at the show is the integration of the UGO System (Unified Guidance & Observation), a cutting-edge solution developed by Farmo Res for real-time video monitoring of all machine functionalities.
UGO enables precise process control, improves production efficiency, and provides even faster and more effective technical support when needed.
For the handling and blister loading of medical devices, particularly inhalers, the R70 INNOVA features the ABB IRB 1100 robot, strengthening a collaboration that has been ongoing for more than twenty years.
We chose ABB for several strategic reasons. Their global support network provides reliable assistance anywhere in the world, a crucial advantage for our international customers.
Additionally, ABB’s wide and flexible range of robots allows us to adapt our solutions to various applications and achieve high-speed operations of up to 100 picks and places per minute, ensuring rapid and efficient packaging of blister packs, vials, and bottles.
Our collaboration with ABB is a clear example of how Farmo Res values long-term, reliable partnerships to offer high-performance and innovative solutions to our clients.
