The PRIMA K7 is the result of decades-long experience of FARMO RES in the thermoforming sector, a know-how whose roots go back to the first patent obtained in 1964. This thermoforming machine was specially designed for the packaging of syringes, vials, ampoules and medical devices. ✔Advanced Technology: the PRIMA is fully electronic, and installed with units driven by electronic cam servomotors. It allows precise adjustments of stroke and speed directly by the HMI interface, assuring optimised strokes and maximum speed and increasing the efficiency and performance of the machine.
✔Simple Maintenance and Cleaning: the units installed on the balcony frame give full visibility of the production flow and make cleaning a fast and simple process, an essential requirement in the pharmaceutical sector.
✔Easy Format and Reel Change: the format changeover at front and the reel change system, assisted by the integrated electric lifter, minimise machine downtime, helping to further increase efficiency.
✔Robotic Integration: FARMO RES integrates delta robotic solutions for product handling. Each robot is controlled by a set of servomotors for perfectly smooth movements and a reduced energy consumption.
✔Product Check Integration: Farmo Vision is an integrated system of cameras that guarantees total quality control directly by the machine’s HMI, with monitoring of the presence and accuracy of the products. With a sole interface, the Farmo Vision system can manage several cameras on the machine or the whole production line, and provides advanced connectivity solutions for interaction with the company network and other devices.
✔Packaging Precision and Quality: the machine has positioning sensors that at each cycle guarantee the correct alignment of the sealing and cutting stations with the profile of the packages. The lateral forming clamps allow the forming film to be kept perfectly tensioned (also when machine is stopped) to optimise the heating of the film and produce correctly formed packages even with frequent stops and restarts (waste reduction).
